Yeah, sorry :) My issue is a bit different actually, it's a racy infinite loop starving the CPU when I use the kill-ring... Unfortunately I don't know how to debug...

Have you checked the 2 settings? I think one of them is useful for what you want. You can use the tweak tool to play with the settings.

What's the status of this issue? It would be interesting to use target-specific features in gecko-media (enable pulseaudio only for linux for instance).
