I think so. But you can also launch program without the payment module: node init.js -module=api node init.js -module=pool node init.js -module=unlocker

I use Ctl-C no problem for node init.js for rpc deamon i use exit for the wallet exit or Ctl-C (the latest maybe not recomanded i don't know)
