Which gene are you annotating with this? I thought with @hattrill we had come up with some functions for many of these?
We should also look at 'carboxylic acid catabolic process' and 'carboxylic acid biosynthetic process', and obsolete the three terms. For a quick look, many terms have other (better) parents. We...
In human this subunit has been found to be in the ribosome by xray crystallography https://europepmc.org/article/MED/25278503 Is this really inconsistent that a ribosomal subunit would act as a release factor?
Its Fig 3B. The gene is labeled ICT1.
Great, thanks.
Hi @Caroline-99 To create new terms, we need PMIDs in definition cross references and genes that will be annotated to these terms. Thanks, Pascale
Right - and [human CRYM in UniProt](https://www.uniprot.org/uniprotkb/Q14894/entry) has this comment: > Additional substrates are delta2-thiazoline-2-carboxylate (T2C), 3,4-dehydrothiomorpholine-3-carboxylate (AECK), and (R)-lanthionine ketimine (LK) that is reduced at very low rate compared...
EC:1.5.1.25 seems to be a specific substrate of https://enzyme.expasy.org/EC/1.5.1.1
> But I don't think we can say EC:1.5.1.25 (GO:0047127) is a specific substrate of EC:1.5.1.1 Good point.I was more focused on the shared list of linked entries for both...
This is inferred via ChEBI: but I dont find the same relations in ChEBI: @balhoff any idea why this is being inferred ?
