I added a PR for supporting this functionality. I didn't see the above message until now. Oh well, reverse engineering is fun anyhow.

VEN telemetry status reports do not appear to be supported

Discovering this library now. It sounds like you addressed this issue and implemented a fix. @stan-janssen, do you plan on merging this feature branch into main?
