I have the same issue trying to connect MetaMask with https://react-app.walletconnect.com/ and nothing happen after scanning the QR code.

So if I want to integrate with v2 version of walletconnect, I should build my own wallet, or if I want my dapps to connect to MetaMask, I should go...

The example is now broken on both my website and the web3modal's example url

Am having the same issue
