I transferred this issue to promscale repository as it seems more like the problem with the application than helm charts.
Jaeger didn't start most likely due to a lack of ipv4 addresses, which looks more like a docker issue than promscale or docker-compose one. More can be found in https://github.com/moby/moby/issues/18527...

I don't see any risk in running restic binary as an ordinary user and changing binary permissions to 0755 seems ok to me. @TheLastProject what do you think?
Going this path means that all bash/cron scripts should be removed from this repository and replaced with simple invocations of `runrestic` (or other software).
