Interesting idea! I don't like the `-NN` thing (because what if you want "only on start"), but probably `--notify=end`, `--notify=start`, `-N, --notify, --notify=start,end`.
Hey I don't actually use this code path and while the bug is probably still present I realistically am not going to find time to finish the PR, sorry. Not...
Yeah, known issue. Use watchexec for now, which handles this relatively correctly, and will do even better in a future update. Quite busy but I'm planning to bring the improvement...
I'll just keep this one open to track this particular bug.
Hmm, interesting! I'm not sure that a dedicated option for this will make it, as it seems quite specific, but I'm hoping to next land a couple of improvements that...
The `-j` option does exist, but this particular program doesn't work. Not sure why; I'm in the process of upgrading the jaq version so will investigate that in the process.
Most importantly, that's not a failure (it says `INFO` and `WARN`). Your action isn't working because it's waiting for input: ``` Do you wish to continue? [yes]/no ``` You need...
That seems a bit too specialised for the current state of watchexec, though not inconceivable in the future. Critically, your usecase is particular about when the `once` command should run...
Yeah, I'll keep this open. I could see this being possible natively in the future, too (..."always in motion is the future").
And if you can clean the example up a bit (multiline, add an explanation), then please PR it to the docs yes :)
