watchexec may not currently do it, but it's not a deliberate design choice to never do it, it's because it's a complicated task and i only have limited time

In "tagged mode", you can now do `-f "type!=dir"`, which is not great UX wise but it's a start.
Can you open another issue? This is unexpected for another reason: the path of the new folder shouldn't match at all
