The issue can be worked around with using `is_direct_tcp=False` during creation of the connection.

This seems to be overlapping in parts with https://github.com/aws/aws-cdk/pull/28901. If it would be accepted, I could update this PR to account for the new types etc. introduced by it.

react-dom is peerDependencies althugh not existed in react-native project

So, is there a plan to release a fix for this? Yarn projects seem to have ways of working around the issue, but plain npm projects seem broken. At least...
