Hi @jonathanstrong, I'm interested in the same (with pretty much the same background as you) Did you make any notable progress on this issue?

I have found and successfully used a workaround: Using `#[schemars(rename = "......")]` on one of the structs with duplicated definitions.

Perhaps you could use `select_textobject_{around,inner}` for the desired effect? (`mat`/`mit` default keys for selecting types)
