This PR yet shows no previews for CR3 files in import dialog, as I reported in https://github.com/darktable-org/darktable/issues/9935

is this issue only matter of replacing every `EXV_` prefix with `EXIV2_`?

darktable 4.0 self compiled on xubuntu 22.04, theme `darktable`. It looks like a theme issue, because changing the theme the issue desappears

@AlicVB , you recently worked on that module, how do you see this issue? do you think it's worth to work on it?

Well, I checked more specifically, it's not for the cache... What is then the reason of this behaviour?
