According to [this source](https://hackweek.opensuse.org/24/projects/yqpkg-bringing-the-single-package-selection-back-to-life) YaST is *"on its way out"* so the icons might not be needed anymore in future.
Can say the same about DE usage for myself. I somewhat dread giving a Numix a spin on modern KDE, might be a terrible mess.
There's a symlink in place already (unreleased) but leaving this open as enhancement request for a dedicated design.
For now I'm using a recoloured version of our moserial icon. Same (imo not quite spot-on metaphor) but I fell it's easier to recognise the antenna.
Thanks for the heads-up! Had a first crack at it but so far a direct representation of the new icon doesn't seem to work for Numix where the basplate takes...
Thanks a lot for Upscaler btw! I've used it for a few projects already such as new card decks I proposed for inclusion in AisleRiot where I used it as...
The file type is hardcoded. There is no theme out there which provides icons in the obsolete XPM format.
Why would we match the upstream design? The GNOME design guidelines do not apply to us. Are there icons where they changed on the metaphor?
I think we've got the symlinks, are you sure you've got the latest Numix Circle/Square release?
Looking at the original icon I still see just a triangle. On top of a circle and a two-tone background however.
