Segmentation Fault
I'm attempting to run rclone config and I'm running into a segmentation fault not allowing me to setup rclone with my cloud accounts. Do you have any suggestions?
Segmentation fault most likely cause is a corrupt SD card. SD card fault can be caused by an inadequate RPI power supply especially if you have USB devices attached that draw power from the RPI. The solution would be to
- Try a better RPI power supply for your particular RPI see table below. and make sure it is working OK.
Raspberry Pi Model ARaspberry Pi Model B+Raspberry Pi 3 Model B 700mA 1.8A 2.5A It is also a good idea to confirm the receptacle being used is OK and has good voltage. This can sometimes happen due to a space heater, large motor, Etc on the same circuit drawing down the power.
- Try another SD card since current one may have a fault or is corrupt due to a previous incident. You could also try re burning OS on the same SD card.
There can be other causes of segmentation errors due to corrupt hardware or bad compile of software but rclone is well tested and has a very low probability of being the problem.
Let me know your results

What cloud service are you trying to connect to. Note that some Amazon web services are a known problem with rclone. For more details see https://rclone.org/amazonclouddrive/
