@yadigarbz did you want to resolve the comments I have added to the PR? If not, I will close the PR :)
hmm... strange.. maybe the cloud function just didn't run as expected on month end then?
or, as you said, there might be some 'legacy'/corrupted users involved that don't have all the correct fields.
Might as well create a PR for this so that what's currently deployed to Firebase is identical the main branch.
On the app-side we should update our QR code implementation to encode todays date and also the MatchRegistration object should have a _date_ field.

Not really a bug (the description in the preferences states that one has to restart the app), but I agree, it should be fixed.
