Hello, this happens to me too, on iOS (Testflight).

With V2, this should be possible as long as a jailbroken Apple TV can run an arbitrary python program, therefore this should be closed.

There is already a config file template available, which describes the structure that it should use, and an automatic setup tool that generates it for you with your settings.

It may be worth mentioning that there are other subtitle types (SSA/ASS) that are much more complex than VTT and will require another library.
