Indeed, `connect_retry_mins` is useful for this usecase.

Pre-polulate the image alt text field from the description field in EXIF metadata

As suggested in [this thread](https://mastodon.art/@[email protected]/108216177410386576) it would be a good idea to use XMP tags which are UTF-8 native.
