Consider integration with WikiData
They are reaching out to open data organizations to share data:

We could probably have an interesting integration where we pull our PyOpenWorm graph out of WikiData and use it as the authoritative store, rather than keeping it here. There would definitely be some issues to work through to make that happen though.
Interested in ideas on this.

I think it would be great to share our data with WikiData in a sync-when-we-can kind of mentality. Then, depending on what data they have, we might want to sync back down to our DB; but that is very much dependent on getting exactly what we need from them. We'd want to evaluate what they have to be able to figure that out further.
