I'm having the same issue with clang-cl on Windows 10 v1903. 
Using a custom getter/setter still causes the issue.
Bumped into this issue a few weeks ago, `map` should support an arbitrary value type, but it seems to produce the wrong JSON.
I'm using a TASCAM 208i, creating a Multi-Output Device seems to work around the issue.
Hey there, could I be of any help on this issue? I'd appreciate some macro magic to reduce boilerplate.

A prompt to confirm file deletion would be great, I've fat fingered it a couple times already.
I don't think anything can be done without [modifying VSCode](https://github.com/microsoft/vscode/issues/152806). Trying to fix it on the extension side ends up being hacky and buggy.
