@Ristovski, have you actually _measured_ the difference in RAM usage between _dm-writeboost_ and _EnhanceIO_ or your comparison is purely theoretical? I think *dm-writeboost* might fit your use case well enough...
Appears to be fixed by 5815670 (#46). Builds successfully on 5.4.0.
Apparently there is an actively maintained fork with Redmine 4 support: https://github.com/AlphaNodes/redmine_pretend/commits/master @batizhevsky, perhaps you could work with @alexandermeindl to incorporate Redmine v4 support here? IMHO it would benefit users...
