Note - restarting loads a new filter which sorts it. Note 2 - I wonder if I am polling too infrequently / had comms issues to keep it alive...

Ah nice! I hadn't noticed the pause functionality, sounds useful. My workaround for auto-recovery of an expired filter recently had a test in production (during the OP upgrade to bedrock)...
