Current Version Number still set as 3.4.0. Assumes it needs to update to version v4.0.0-beta.1

I installed the v4.0.0-beta.1 release, but the "About" page shows the version number as 3.4.0.0  When the "Check For Update" button is clicked it states that a new update...
