This sounds like a different problem than the one the issue is referring to. Check out the [`onDragStart`](http://chessboardjs.com/docs#config:onDragStart) event and [Example 4002](http://chessboardjs.com/examples#4002).

Thanks for reporting. I have not experienced this bug, nor heard any other reports of it. But sounds like something worth investigating. Have you isolated this down to atom-parinfer specifically?...
