Same issue as others. using Arch, i3 with xfce-terminal. Tried switching different fonts etc... no luck so far. Maybe I need to switch to a better terminal emulator? any ideas?

I tested and switched to urxvt and its all OK now, must be terminal issue. thanks, great work.

I have the same issue as above, and removing the environment variable and rebooting the system did not resolve it for me.  I'll try a few other options and...
