Just found the culprit option `line_num.enable`. So turning off the line number feature solves this. I think it is still worth fixing it.
Using another tmux pane is the apparent workaround currently.
Once this can be done, I'm also interested in implementing this selecting of (some globals) terminal buffers like they did: https://github.com/uga-rosa/ugaterm.nvim

Not exactly, but now 7860806 we can call `NeoTermToggle` directly on any *dead* terminal buffer after restoring from a session where you left many terminal buffers behind before `VimLeave`.
note: by nested sub-projects I didn't mean nested sessions, but subfolders nested inside a given project/path.

@samiam376 Do you know that your config is hard to read? You can use triple-backquote to write markdowns for multiline codes.
Well, have you guys fixed it? It cannot recognize my microphone even if I have installed it with the latest version from here.
