Using another tmux pane is the apparent workaround currently.

Once this can be done, I'm also interested in implementing this selecting of (some globals) terminal buffers like they did: https://github.com/uga-rosa/ugaterm.nvim

Do you have plan on this issue? I really like this plugin but I also really need this feature, it is too cumbersome to open new terminal buffer for each window.
