Change **firefox** to **firefox-esr** and add ```export MOZ_FAKE_NO_SANDBOX=1``` to your `.zshrc` or `.bashrc` file. That should work.

It happens when running unprivileged container without proper access to security related kernel features.

If you don't **root** than you can't use chroot it requires real **root** privileges

Can you give me the log? It will help me identify the problem.
