libprotobuf complains about invalid UTF-8 data

Hello, @rizsotto I encountered the same problem today. I tried to compile the kernel from [android_kernel_hisi_hi3650](https://github.com/hackslashX/android_kernel_hisi_hi3650). feat(hud): Head-Up Display for A32NX and A380X

It's just a problem that makes me hesitate recently. I notice that there's pillow distortion when MSFS renders the HUD. Not sure about how to correct it. \ may help...
