not sure if nvcloth uses CPU or the GPU, but depending on your task, gpu is faster for highly parallel stuff, as your cloth resolution scales, gpu will eventually beat...

that would be an interesting project for the future, but currently not yet, probs would make one where you can simply select an audio file and just record the visualizer...
