Further observation: When the radio is in this condition, the display is not being updated at all. The RSSI bargraph does not bounce, and when in scan the Mode display...

Doing a _very_ cursory poke, I commented out the entire `if(available > SAMPLE_RATE_OUT * PA_LATENCY_OUT)` section in `dsd_audio.c` and got audio playing with the occasional buffer underrun. No dropouts detected...

Yes, I am aware of the workarounds. The point of this report was to note the Portaudio issue so that it could potentially be remedied.
