A simplified bar with no streaks should be simpler and more robust. Streaks could be shown after the match has ended, perhaps as a line chart.

This is still somewhat arbitrary... scoring uses a deadzone to check for draws, but we could also decide to take decimal points into account (maybe in the new game over...
It is possible that the crash is water-related (both instances of the crash happened while the level was flooded). Considering that water has an effect on trails, this is plausible.
disabling multi-threaded physics still causes the crash... but no error lines appear in the debugger
I dont' know for the specific scenario of skipping a level, but the game could sometimes crash after a quit to main menu. Something is not cleared up correctly.
