@nyalldawson , +1 for opt in no color. It would also make for a nicer UI as our color button widget already has a no color mode.

@Ipickedausername , while the tools can appear to have little to no uses for point layers, they actually do. For e.g., rotating a multipart point is definitively a thing :)...
@vincentBenet , if possible, we'd benefit from having a sample project with data that already show the discrepancy between QGIS and QField.
@woutergd , that's not something available ATM, but I can definitively see it being super useful for plugin authors. I imagine a system whereas we can register a listener against...
