+1 same issue, even though it does create cached image files in the storage, and the `Image::cache` function is returning a `CachedImage` object.
Tried launching with every .conf file. Was getting the same framerate with all them except for a couple which didn't seem to do anything.

I'm running Ubuntu 14.04 on a rig with an AMD FX6100 cpu. Not a VM. Should have plenty of processing power.
Are there any workarounds for this at the moment? I can't figure out how to expose a constructor from Rust to C++ without wrapping it with a non-associated function.
