Can you confirm if it would restore faster if you go to a commit before the logging refactoring?
Please re-test with latest code, I pushed a commit that hopefully fixes this.
Do you have Apple Mobile Device support installed? Otherwise there is no usbmuxd, and it cannot see the device in restore mode.
Ok that makes sense now, I guess that the Windows driver does not support Mac devices.

Can you check the restore_TIMESTAMP.log? How long is it from `Waiting for device to enter restore mode...` to `Device failed to enter restore mode` and then `Device reconnected in DFU...
Please check with latest commit.
