How is your disk connected to your Mac? Directly or via a hub (which can also be an external display)?

Ejectify needs to be able to unmount the volumes _before_ the (external) disks lose power. That will be the case for those connected directly to your Mac. I cannot say...

So your Mac shuts down when the UPS battery is critically low? In that case, you should be good: connected volumes will be unmounted safely as part of the shutdown...

That's odd; something is wrong with your Mac starting to sleep based on the UPS having a critically low battery level? I would suggest contacting the manufacturer of your UPS...

So unmount when switching from AC to battery?

Yes, the display is turned off when your computer starts sleeping. But there might not be a screensaver so that one doesn't always run; it depends on your system configuration....

Can you check [this FAQ](https://github.com/nielsmouthaan/ejectify-macos#why-do-i-still-receive-notifications), especially the Console part, to see if there's any information indicating why unmounting fails? Also, for the ones using a hub: does it work (better)...

Have you tried turning off _Wake for network access_? If so, does it solve your issue?
