I tested up to the 0.45.0 version > ... > "react": "16.0.0-alpha.12", > "react-native": "0.45.0", > ... > and it still runs well. But it fails with the 0.46.4 version....

@bettdouglas add the file to same level with MainActivity file. It's better to open Android module in Android Studio for better editing.

+1 vote for the feature. We really really need it.
