Please try some of the solutions mentioned [here](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/wordpress-site-with-docker-behind-apache-reverse-proxy-keeps-redirecting-from-do/). Have you tried disabling some of the plugins, especially those that are related to caching?

This might be related to fie permission, are you using a the full project volume configuration? Have you tried setting [user id and group id](https://stackoverflow.com/questions/40462189/docker-compose-set-user-and-group-on-mounted-volume)?

Have you tried the steps documented in [project from existing source](https://github.com/nezhar/wordpress-docker-compose?tab=readme-ov-file#project-from-existing-source)?

I completely agree with @flip111; this information should be included in a dedicated section of the README.
