I too have wondered this...
Hi @eul94458 can you be a bit more specific here? maybe with a worked example? Certainly there are a lot of improvements we can apply to this area of the...
This is because `optimal_givens_decomposition` is mutating the variable `mat` I think. Can you confirm this?
It would be nice to articulate maffoo's very informative answer somewhere in the docs. Also I recall @mrwojtek had some issues with the Floquet code not working with sqrt(iswap) but...
Cool cool. I just wanted to make sure I am communicating the correct information. It sounds like both sqrt(iswap) and sqrt(iswap)^{-1} are formally in our gate set. But what happens...
Good to know. In [here](https://github.com/quantumlib/Cirq/blob/0ab45cf24e53a0de3b60404ce5f713dc92491cc3/cirq/google/optimizers/convert_to_sqrt_iswap.py#L39-L117), it is clearly suggested that SQRT_ISWAP_INV and SQRT_ISWAP are native. The docs only indicate iswap**-0.5 which might be a source of confusion.
I think it is time this is revisited. The pubchem servers have been pretty flakey lately so this problem is appearing more. @viathor I can revisit this and refactor if...
I propose we remove this functionality or move it to a contrib folder. pubchempy doesn't support the versions of python we are running and should not be a core dependency...
Hi Michael. To my knowledge we don't have something explicitly for this. The closest thing we have is wedge product which can produce arbitrary RDMs from a particle conserving covariance...
This sounds great to have. Looking forward to the code!
