One way to do this would be create two private repositories. 1. Mirrored repositories requiring specific packages. 2. Private VCS repositories using "require-all".

It sounds like an issue with the gid/uid parameters passed to s3fs when mounting the bucket. They need to be the same user and group that apache is running as....

I pushed up a couple changes: 1. More configurable parameters. 2. Added a test image that can be served from the bucket.
