@archz2 The PR is not merged yet. Meanwhile you can try installing it from PR directly with this, till its merged into main `pip install git+https://github.com/m1guelpf/yt-whisper.git@refs/pull/38/head`

@MotionGaming I see that Whisper is supported only up to Python 3.10 as of now. Try with that.

Its working for me with Anaconda3/Python 3.9.13, not sure of any known issues with 3.8.x though.

Try pip uninstall and install again with Python 3.9 version. I see whisper dropped support for versions 3.10 in latest commits. So, fresh install should work with 3.9
