There is a new patch for Wagamama (Eng. Version) on patch list.

Using lastest version 0.0.30-16065, and the error still persists.

This might be really late. But did you check if your copy of the game is actually multilanguage? Mine is, and I edited the config file as language 5 (Spanish)...
