Boots to a black screen, it does boot, but there is no video.

when I run the command sudo mountcifs start it loads the modules but cannot mount my share, it says too many symlinks. This is my fstab: (u/p hidden) //192.168.1.1/volume1 /media/removable/USB1/stuff...
