Definitely something different happening with logging events. Master works fine, but this PR seems to not be persisting matched events.

I think the issue here sounds like something at the Tor level, with @jidhub onion site ( paXXXXXXXXus.onion:8888) being unreachable.

This all makes sense to me.

I am all for the background color layer over the video feed. It looks great, and addresses the usability and accessibility issues.
