The MyBB Merge System allows for easy merging of an existing forum (be it MyBB or another forum software) into a MyBB 1.8.x forum.
We need a database first, but as vB 5 isn't used much yet we can add it later too.
Not sure if this is reproducible, but I just merged a phpBB 3 forum that had groups as moderators, and now under all the forums it shows "Moderated By:" http://dev.mybb.com/issues/548

There are some places where calls to eg the board class are running through the module class: `$module->board->db_connect()`. One line above is the module created with passing `$board` as parameter....
