I believe it can also track lambda invocations now.
Could you use something like data pipeline to dump something in s3 > dynamo?

I don't think they have a public API for chatbot as far as I can tell, only Cloudformation support.
I believe (haven't used myself though) that it may be available through the AWS Cloud Control API. I couldn't find a good reference in the AWS docs but you can...
