Correction: After choosing the audio/video dropdown, I click download. The cloud icon appears in my status bar. With '"LibreTube" and "Downloading" u see the 'wait' line continuously looping, without downloading....

OK it seems to have cleared up. I was able to send message through both Pidgin and the browser. There is an issue where buddies deleted off the list reappear...
