I don't think that we have validation for the `yaml` field either: [spec](https://github.com/elastic/package-spec/blob/b366871e9da864871f9300dc4c8e379739e72e10/spec/integration/data_stream/manifest.spec.yml#L59). I know that some developers like to place there just a commented blob to show different properties.
