Steam Deck - show hidden files in the file browser of "Other games"

What's your idea?

Currently the built-in file browser doesn't allow this, so game files from Steam's compdata folder cannot be selected. I know the process of locating save files is automated, however in some cases a game is bundled within an other, eg. Alice: Madness Returns acts as a launcher for the first Alice game, and its save files cannot be backed up currently, because the path is not accessible from the file browser.
