It looks like no shells are found on your machine, or else none of them is selected. 
I admit, it is not obvious that "Find next" / "Find previous" of the dialog opened using "Find..." (`Ctrl+F`) searches in all diffs of the commits. The hotkey works everywhere....
The two boxes "Find in commit files" and "Find in commit diffs" should be used alternatively only. So they can share their place or make use of the same control(s)....

It is most likely related to outdated plugins. Does it occur with v5.1.1, too?
Unfortunately, the output of the affected setting does not work (because I forgot to mark the string literal with `$`). (The stack trace tells at least that) it was "credential.helper"....
