it works for all regular EOS (and EOS R). For EOS M so far it only works on the EOS M6 Mark2, no others.

I also was not able to achieve this with my D750. THere is the "recordingmedia" setting too, but I cant change it on my D750

For one thing "movie" capture only streams the liveview , which is smaller than FULL size images.

please check if its visible when you run lsusb it is likely a USB connection problem, not a libgphoto2 problem.

You need to build with the libusb development package + headers. preferably the libusb 1 ones. (not libusb 0.x whic hhad usb.h) Not sure how to get that on Android.
