the --wait-event=5s already drains the file addition events happening, and does not remember them. perhaps --wait-event-and-download=5s perhaps there?

or you can use -P at the end to download also the intermedia added files.

what versions do you have? e.g. quote output of: gphoto2 --version

--capture-image is not supported on the S10 I think. only --capture-preview might work. ( https://fujifilm-x.com/de-de/support/compatibility/software/x-webcam/ ) check that you have the latest firmware first though: https://fujifilm-x.com/de-de/support/download/firmware/cameras/x-s10/

did you update the software at that time? can you try current git master branch again? (or 2.5.28 once released)

i think big file sharing can be done via drive.google.com :/

it might need the 3 seconds "wait on startup"... i added this to GIT now if you want to try.

can you provide another debuglogfile? either one of you? :)

i think I fixed the problem with capture problems with out-of-focus on the weekend.. perhaps you can retest current libgphoto2 git?
